I first started taking photographs of birds back in 2011 when I encountered a Malachite Sunbird sitting atop a Protea while out on a hike. That encounter lead me to a rich passion for both birding and bird photography. While most of my birding adventures are based more around the bird than the photography, I try my best to improve my avian photography with each trip out in the field.
